Malia was born and raised in Utah. She started working in veterinary medicine, specifically equine reproduction, at South Valley Equine in 2023. Malia’s interest with the TVA and ICSI program has shaped her career focus.
“I’m captivated by its potential to fulfill clients' dreams and manage their aspirations. Mentorship under Dr. Anderson and other technicians has been integral for me. I am very intrigued by the convergence of science and nature in realizing people’s dreams.”
In her free time, Malia enjoys taking care of her own horses, Elvis, Johnny, Dolly, and Reba and competes in barrels in the fall.
